David Pastrnak’s Dominance Continues as Boston Bruins Defeat Minnesota Wild

Star forward David Pastrnak continued his outstanding form as the Boston Bruins secured a victory over the Minnesota Wild on Saturday. His consistency and offensive leadership throughout the season have helped the team dominate the Wild Card standings.

On March 28, 2026, the Boston Bruins locked horns against the Minnesota Wild in a regular-season encounter. Pastrnak contributed with two assists in the game. He has now extended his point streak to 12 games.

Scoring points in the last 12 games shows his consistency and good form. He helped his team to win over the Wild 6-3. This season, he has played 68 games so far and scored 92 points. It includes 29 goals and 63 assists.

After the game, Pastrnak appreciated the teamwork and execution. “Overall, a great team effort,” Pastrnak said. “Every line contributed, and it was a good team win.

At the same time, David Pastrnak is not carried away with this win. He is eyeing the next game, and his full focus is on the upcoming Sunday encounter. “We have another big one, so that’s now the focus.”

“We have to remain focused” - David Pastrnak

David Pastrnak has talked about the current situation in the standings. We are now almost into the end of the regular season, and only a few games are left for each team.

The star forward wants to focus on the next few games, as it is important for the playoff race. With only a few games left, a small mistake might derail any team’s campaign.

“You look at the standings, and that makes you focus and dial in. Every single play matters now, and we’re getting into single-digit numbers now for the rest of the year, so we have to remain focused and make it hard for the other team.”

David Pastrnak feels that if they continued to play like this, most of the time, the team came out on top. “When we play like that and try to frustrate the other team, most of the time we come out on top.”

The Boston Bruins are currently at the top of the standings in the Wild Card, with 90 points in 73 games. They are 3 points ahead of the Columbus Blue Jackets. The two teams will now be up against each other on March 29, 2026.

Earlier, Boston dominated most of the game against the Wild. They took a 3-0 lead before the Wild joined the party. At one stage, the two teams were in a close situation, with Boston taking a 4-3 lead.

Eventually, the two goals from Pavel Zacha and Elias Lindholm in the third period ended the game 6-3 with a win for Boston. Apart from David Pastrnak’s two assists, Pavel Zacha and Elias Lindholm each netted two goals, while Viktor Arvidsson contributed a goal and an assist for the Boston Bruins.

Meanwhile, Casey Mittelstadt recorded three assists, Hampus Lindholm added two helpers, and goaltender Jeremy Swayman stopped 31 shots in a solid performance.
