Travis Kelce had nine receptions for 101 yards and a touchdown in the Kansas City Chiefs' 33-30 overtime victory against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday Night Football to become the NFL all-time leader in career yards after the catch. Kansas City has improved to 2-0 with Harrison Butker kicking a 40-yard field goal to end the game in overtime.
Despite being 36 years old and in his 14th NFL season, Kelce is still setting records. At least one pundit believes it has a little something to do with the marriage between Kelce and Taylor Swift.

Travis Kelce became the all-time leader in yards after the catch in the first half on Sunday night, overtaking Hall of Fame running back Marshall Faulk to take the top spot. He also caught a touchdown pass from Patrick Mahomes, who threw three touchdowns on the night to Kelce, Xavier Worthy and Jalen Royals in a 382-yard passing game that required all of that to beat Indianapolis after the Colts' Jonathan Taylor scored two rushing touchdowns.
That was the second consecutive week that Kelce broke a record. In Week 1 in a win over the Denver Broncos, his second reception of the season went 59 yards to vault him past Jason Witten into second place all-time in receiving yards by a tight end at 13,067 yards. Tony Gonzalez remains the top dog with 15,127 yards.

Bayless, watching the game on Sunday night, took to X to link Kelce's stellar performance to his marriage to Swift. He said Kelce looked differently from the end of last season.
"Travis Kelce looks good tonight. Marriage served him well. Lost weight, got in better shape.
Looks quicker, stronger, better than last year.
Who knows? Maybe less distracted now. Impressed," Bayless wrote on X.
Kelce and Swift were married July 3, 2026, at Madison Square Garden in New York City with comedy star Adam Sandler officiating the ceremony. Jason Kelce was the best man, while Swift's brother Austin was her man of honor. The couple donated $26 million in charities ahead of the wedding.
